Title printed in red and black with woodcut illustration, half-page woodcut of the Mass on A1 within woodcut border, ff.t4/5 PRINTED ON VELLUM with full-page woodcuts of the Crucifixion and God the Father Enthroned signed GM, numerous smaller woodcut illustrations and initials, printer's device on final page, double column, partly printed in red. (Tear in F8 of third part touches a few letters, a few leaves slightly soiled.) Contemporary calf, covers ruled in blind with gilt centre- and cornerpieces, stamped with initials T[homas] B[aily] and date 1567, spine in compartments (rebacked with 19th-century calf, boards repaired, rubbed, lower cover detatched). Provenance : Thomas Baily (d.1591, fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge, of the English College at Louvain, created cardinal in 1587, with his initials on covers), given by him to; Thomas Worthington (1549-1622?, Baily's successor as president at Douai: both inscriptions on title); unlocated Bibliothèque Publique (exchange stamp on title).
