One of 1000 copies. A compilation of students’ architectural projects from the famous art and technical school founded in 1920 where Lissitzky taught. It became one of the leading centers of modern art in the world. The cover shows lettering printed over a photograph of Lissitzky’s hand holding a compass suggesting a graphic correlation with his earlier reflexive proclamation, “Architecture is the measure of architecture” (Compton, 1992, pp. 90 and 134).
