Condition : light staining to boards, neatly rebound. first edition . Lissitzky was associated with the Bauhaus in Berlin when he produced this stunning Constructivist cover. Alexander Kusikov published this book of poems (many of them with Islamic themes) in Germany while on assignment from Narkompros or the Commissariat of Enlightment. He composed them while a member of the Imaginist group with Esenin and Shershenevich. He eventually gave up literature altogether. MoMA 406.
