Alla carta 9r testo stampato in rosso e nero, con testatina xilografica a motivi interlacciati e iniziale ornata in rosso. Al frontespizio due timbri abrasi, altrimenti ottimo esemplare genuino. Legatura coeva in pergamena floscia, tracce di bindelle. Marginalia di mano coeva alle carte; al contropiatto anteriore applicato ex libris di Livio Ambrogio; conservata all'interno scheda della Libreria Antiquaria Mediolanum. Editio princeps , conservata nella sua legatura originale, di una delle opere più celebri del santo e dottore della Chiesa Giovanni Damasceno in cui viene sostenuta la verginità della stessa Sant'Anna, Madre di Maria. La presente è una delle 14 edizioni che uscirono dai torchi di Stefano Nicolini da Sabbio dopo il suo trasferimento da Venezia a Verona, su invito del vescovo Gian Matteo Gilberti, e in cui vennero usati per la prima volta nella storia tipografica di questa città i caratteri greci. Marginalia by contemporary hand on the leaves; on the front pastedown applied ex libris by Livio Ambrogio; preserved the card og the Libreria Antiquaria Mediolanum. Editio princeps , preserved in the original binding, of one of the most famous work by the saint and doctor of the Church Giovanni Damasceno in which is supported the virginity of Sant'Anna, Mother of Maria. This copy is one of the 14 editions printed by Stefano Nicolini da Sabbio after he moved from Venice to Verona, to invitation of the bishop Gian Matteo Gilberti, in which were used for the first time in the history of printing of this city the greek characters.
