The work is translated by the Greek by Matteo Maria Boiardo, eminent poet and literate of Ferrara, who in the fifteenth century translated various classical works both in Greek and Latin. This is a part of the celebrated "Stories" opera by the famous Greek historian who seeks to identify the causes that led to the war between the united poles of Greece and the Persian Empire, trying to put it in a historical perspective, using the 'inquiry and distrust of the uncertain accounts of his predecessors. L’opera è tradotta dal greco da Matteo Maria Boiardo, eminente poeta e letterato ferrarese, che nel Quattrocento tradusse svariate opere classiche sia in greco che in latino.
