(early faded signature at foot of title); contemporary marginal notes in ink; Cardiff Castle bookplate. ONLY EDITION. Possibly the earliest use of the 'septennium privilege'. The author was pastor of the English congegration at Geneva and one of the translators of the Geneva Bible. STC 11887 colophon variant (1), only 6 copies of all variants recorded.
