BERNHEIMER and with the final 4-line stanza of the poem "In Time of Cloudburst" (which appears on pp. 30-31 of this book) WRITTEN OUT AND SIGNED BY FROST on the front free endpaper, the inscription reading: "For Earl [ sic ] Bernheimer, South Shaftsbury, Vermont, in 1937 the year of greatest resentment against man's condition," signed by the dedicatee of the book (the poet's wife Elinor Frost) on the dedication page, laid in is an order form for the book initialed by Frost: "R.F. for E.B."
