Provenance : Prof. Sergei Aleksandrovich Rin... (indistinct stamp on title). FIRST EDITION of this collection of works, some of it previously unpublished, comprising his life of A.D. Kantemir, his World of Heroes , and translations of Horace and Phaedrus, Cato and others. Lomonosov praised Barkov for his translations.
