Das Stillleben und der Papagei sind teilweise von einem Gemeinschaftswerk von Peter Paul Rubens und Frans Snijders im Museo del Prado, Madrid, angeregt. Das vorliegende Gemälde ist mit einer signierten Caritas von Erasmus Quellinus im Groeningemuseum, Brügge, vergleichbar. Es kann um 1655/1660 datiert werden. The still life and the parrot are partly inspired by a work executed in collaboration with Peter Paul Rubens and Frans Snijders in the Museo del Prado, Madrid. The present painting is comparable to a signed Caritas by Erasmus Quellinus in the Groeningemuseum, Bruges. It can be dated to circa 1655/60.
