An extremely finely engineered exhibition standard electrified display model of an M.E. single cylinder centre pillar beam engine built by E.M. Thomas. Measurements overall -- 16½ x 18½in.(42 x 47cm) With cylinder 1¼in. bore x 2½in. stroke, centrally mounted steam chest with integrally cast steam ways, cylinder head lubricator, draincock, parallel motion with delicate drop links with jibbed and cottered spilt brasses, barrelled anchor and radius links, barrelled fluted connecting rod with jibbed and cottered big and little ends, wasted crank, lift-off eccectric rod, gear driven Watt governor with linkage and valve, gear driven countershaft with multi-v pulley and spoked flywheel.
