Extra-illustrated with 12 autograph letters, documents, and notes by Webster and others, including one printed ship's passport signed by Millard Fillmore, as President, and Webster, as Secretary of State, as well as 70 additional engraved portraits and views. Three-quarter brown morocco, stamped in gilt, over green cloth-covered boards, rear board of first volume detached but present, rear board of third volume starting, scattered rubbing to extremities, spines faded; top edges gilt, other edges trimmed; by Curtis. Autograph letter, signed by Webster to a Mr. Hedge, concerning complaints of a speech Webster gave at the Old Colony Memorial. Summer Street, Boston, October 30, 1836. Autograph letter, signed by Webster to William Sullivan, concerning dinner plans. MS. notes concerning Daniel Webster and the above dinner, presumably signed by Sullivan.
