London: John Day 1876 4to (11 x 8 1/4 in.; 279 x 210 mm). Title printed in red and black, 2 chromolithographed plates after James Poole mounted on card, half title, 23 flies with dressing components and 2 large completed flies without displayed in 22 sunken compartments on 6 thick gilt-edged card mount); occasional light spotting, two old tape repair to short tears in lower margin of two leaves. Publisher's green cloth, upper cover stamped in gilt and black with rising trout motif; corners bumped and exposed, spine ends frayed but not affecting gilt spine title. With: Ronalds, Alfred. The Fly-Fisher's Entomology: with Directions for Making the Artificial Representation of Each Fly; and a Few Observations and Instructions on Trout and Grayling Fishing. Liverpool: Henry Young & Sons, 1913 2 volumes, 4to (10 x 7 1/2 in.; 254 x 191 mm). Titles printed in red and black, frontispiece and 20 plates (8 photogravures on india paper and mounted, and 13 hand-colored engravings), all with lettered tissue guards; offsetting to endleaves. Second volume with 48 flies displayed in linen-lined sunken compartments on 9 board mounts; linen guards minor offsetting on verso of mounts from metal hooks or fly hackles, hackles lacking from Peacock fly.
