Beschreibung:

The first of convex form, with four silver-damascened domed bosses, and an applied border, embossed and etched centrally with a silver-damascened sun-in-splendour, the rays against a ground of etched Persian horsemen hunting animals including hares, boars and tigers, all in a landscape and highlighted with silver-damascened Persian verses in cursive script between borders of scrollwork; the second of similar form, with applied rim and four bosses, the surfaces decorated in silver koftgari with designs of foliage, the inside retaining its padded textile liner (minor damage) and bracer; the last with domed skull (pitted, some damage) retaining some silver-damascened decoration, fitted with silver-damascened nasal, and with remains of a camail of riveted rings (spike missing) (3) 43.3 cm. diam., 35.9 cm. diam., and 17.5 cm. high
