(1864), title-p. and 8 movable handcol. lithogr. plates w. pulling tabs, each w. accomp. textp., orig. clothbacked col. lithogr. boards, folio. - Hinges strengthened w. paper; occas. sl. foxed (not affecting plates); owner's entry in pen and ink and sm. ticket on upper pastedown. Spine neatly restored; corners rubbed; sm. contemp. ticket on frontcover. = Exceedingly rare and very good copy for this type of book: all movable plates functioning and only a few unobtrusive repairs (mainly repaired strings). Lust en Leering p.399 and 415 (dating 1864 and 1865, but our copy has owner's entry dated 1864); Beweegbare boeken no. 67; not in Coll. Caljé-Van Gulik or The Children's World of Learning. Plates titled: "De theater-muziek"; "De kleine grootmoeder"; "Het wippen"; "De kleine postiljon"; "De kleine soldaten"; "De kleine schoolmeester"; "Het gevangen muisje" and "De ontvlugte eekhoorn".
