Odometer reading: 85,000 MOT Expiry: December 2021 *Sought after Carrera 3.2 G50 Targa *Low warranted mileage *Touring Spec *Large history file with Porsche service history Beautiful example of one of the greatest air cooled 911s. From a private collection this Porsche 3.2 Targa has been impeccably maintained and cherished by enthusiast owners from new. The car itself is also fairly unique, as it was specified from new in December 1988 as a 'Touring Specification'. More discreet, it contrasts to the much more common 'spoilers and flares' 'bankers bonus cars' if the late eighties. This non-sport specification includes the deletion of the front spoiler and whale tail boot lid, and includes the very rare 15" Fuch alloy wheels with slightly higher price tyres. The car is in an excellent condition, and the Guards Red paintwork still presents beautifully. The 3.2-litre flat-six engine has also been carefully maintained with a full Porsche specialist service history, and is paired with the improved G50 five-speed gearbox. This, combined with the electric black leather seats and 15" Fuch alloy wheels really give a sense comfort, but with no impact on the cars impressive performance. This example was also featured in 911 and Porsche World Magazine in 2014 where Specialist Porsche JournalistJohnny Tipler said: " it has the best ride quality because of its tall tyres and 15-inch rims", thus proving that this combination strikes the ideal balance that's rare in a 911 of this era. The mileage is also relatively low at 85,000 miles, and there is a large history file that includes a fully stamped service book, original handbook package and kit. The original non-spoiler boot lid is also available with the car. This is a rare and stunning example ready to enjoy To view a video of this lot please click here
