In 1886 a fourth volume in the series was printed in Baltimore. The volumes of Zimrath Yah, published in the years 1873-1877 (and in 1886) and distributed by cantors Alois Kaiser, Moritz Goldstein and Samuel Welsch, are one of the most prominent examples of attempts to create a musical repertoire based on the synagogue services at a time of the American Jewish institutionalization.
