Lot of 12. 4pp pamphlet, 6 x 9 in. The Beginning of Human Flight. New York: The Wright Company, n.d. Front with the classic view of the Wright Flyer, with Orville on it, Wilbur next to it. Two pages of text inside, and stats of the first flight on back. Two copies the same, except one with Orville Wright's private library stamp on verso. Egbert, Howard. The Shop That Became a Shrine: A Recital of the Real Story of the First Flight in an Aeroplane by Wilbur and Orville Wright of Dayton, Ohio. Dayton Chamber of Commerce, December 17, 1928. 8pp pamphlet in printed wraps, approx. 5 x 8 in. An-Achievement. The Dayton Wright Airplane Company, Dayton, Ohio, n.d. (ca 1920). 14pp. plus 3 early paged illustrating the evolution of human flight (glider, first powered plane, 1917 model plane). 5.75 x 7.75 in. in printed wraps with silk tie binding. Wilson, Mitchel. The Story of the Wright Brothers. Reprint from American Science and Invention, Chicago, 1954. 32pp. 5.25 x 7.5 in. in self-wraps. Covers split along spine, but present. Photographs by the Wright Brothers. Prints from the Glass Negatives in the Library of Congress. Washington: Library of Congress, 1978. 6 x 7.5 in. with photographic wraps. 21pp. inside rear cover is an envelope are five microfiches with contact negatives of the glass plates in the Library of Congress. Three pages from Aerial Age Weekly, Oct. 16, 1916, April 24, 1916, and May 15, 1916 with ads for the Wright Flying School. One page from Flying, February 1918 with caricatures of "Authorities Present and Discussed at the S.A.E. Meeting and Dinner," including George Dunham, Orville Wright, Jesse Vincent, Howard Coffin, and Colonel E.A. Deeds. The Early History of the Airplane. Dayton, OH: Dayton-Wright Airplane Co., n.d. 24pp, 9 x 12 in. in printed blue paper wraps. The story as told by the brothers. Wraps with a bit of damage; inside clean. Cover from Popular Aviation from the 25th anniversary, with enlargement. Condition: Most with some handling wear. Split spine on the Wilson booklet is the worst condition issue.
