An apparently regular wooden pipe, the mouth piece detaching to contain a steel stabbing spike, the blade length 60mm. 2.5 inches. An unusual and rare OSS agents' secret dagger concealed within a regular pipe. This was a particularly brutal weapon, which at close quarters was very effective. Spiked weapons were very much part of a SOE or OSS agent's arsenal, and as here, were easily concealed, but were quiet, effective and very deadly.
