8 pp. With double-page bird's-eye view of the East Bay to the Sierra Nevada, with Mount Diablo dominating; 20 illustrations from photographs; location map showing scope of summit vista. 23x20.2 cm (9x8"), color pictorial self-wrappers, stapled; folding vertically, as issued, folded size 23x10.1 cm (9x4"). Rare brochure extolling the delights of Mt. Diablo and the surroudng area. OCLC locates two copies of a 1922 issue (at U.C. Davis & U.C. Berkeley), but not this from 1915, so dated from "Copyright 1915 by Worthington Gates" in the lower right corner of the bird's-eye view. The view itself is by C. Merriman Peter, credited in lower left - he is perhaps better known for his bird's-eye view map of San Francisco, 1914.
