WINE] A collection of approximately ninety-one engraved and manuscript documents relating to matters of the wine trade, dating from the 1780's to the 1820's, comprising wine lists, bills, receipts, orders for various wine merchants including Frederick Booth, Raynsford, Michie, Anderton Woodd and others, including a receipt from John Harvey & Sons dated 1899, a shipping declaration of Butler Naylor & Co. dated 1822, an advertisement for 'English White Wines, raisin, orange, whitecurrant & elder, sold wholesale and to private families by Sarah Elcock of Chertsey' and a letter from Rob. Jooling, dated 1824, offering some claret from Colonel Palmer's Estate in France of the 1819 vintage. Together with a pamphlet Description D'un des appareils distillatoires by M. Cellier-Blumenthal (Paris, 1819), sewn as issued with engraved plan and two other items on the subject. (91)
