Good very fine, has been cleaned, rare in silver (£60-80) Footnote Sir George Frampton (1860-1928), one of the most celebrated sculptors of his day. He was elected R.A. in 1902 and knighted in 1908. Among his best known public works are Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, the Lions at the British Museum, and the Edith Cavell Memorial. He made only a small number of medals. Much rarer in silver than BHM suggests.
