Laid in: (1) Snapshot photograph of Waugh, captioned in an unidentified hand on verso: "...taken by Anne Ford when she was a week-end guest of Waugh's on Oct. 3, 1950"; (2) Photograph of Waugh's last home, the Georgian house Piers Court in Gloucestershire; (3) Photocopy of a typed letter signed by Chapman & Hall to the bookseller Frank Hollings, 17 December 1953: "...we produced 50 copies of the large paper edition of Helena for the author's personal use and distribution and no copies were put on the market." In very good condition for this book.
