Wang Hui-Ming (Chinese/American, 1922-2006) Three Works: Landscapes with Creatures and Figures One signed "Wang..." l.c. Mixed media (gouache, watercolor, and pastel) on paper, sheet sizes to 27 1/2 x 40 1/4 in. (69.9 x 102.2 cm), each unframed. Condition: Tack holes to corners. Provenance: Purchased from Boris Mirski Gallery, Boston, 1966. N.B. Wang attended the University of Amoy in China and immigrated to the United States after World War II. He obtained degrees in Economics (a BS from the University of Missouri and an MA from New York University), and taught Chinese language and literature at Yale University before turning to art practice.
