W. CHURCHILL, THE SECOND WORLD WAR VOL. I, gilt cloth with original dustjacket, first edition, signed by the author and dated 1948, along with a letter of provenance from Sir. Arnold B. Gridley, also to include the Second World War Vols. I-VI Note: Sir Arnold Gridley worked as private secretary to Churchill, and was a close friend of the vendor's great-grandfather in law Mr. Jenkins (as referenced in the letter) Condition reports indicate issues visible to the naked eye. Whilst every effort is made to provide accurate and honest condition reports, none of our staff is a professional conservator or restorer.
