Victoria Cross interest, an electroplated presentation cup, vase form, scroll handles, pull off cover, the body inscribed 'Presented to Commander Beak by the Mayor of Salisbury on the occasion of his winning the Victoria Cross 1918', height 22.8cm. ** Daniel Beak was born on the 27th January 1891, son of Mr and Mrs W.H.Beak, formerly of West End House, Donhead St. Mary, Wiltshire. He joined the RNVR on the 26th January 1915 and saw service in Gallipoli.
