Various Periods Including a fragmentary Corinthian skyphos, decorated in umber and brick red with a mountain goat grazing and a bird, rosettes in the field, circa 6th Century B.C., 41/4in. (11cm.) high, one handle and part of the rim missing, cracked and over-painted; an Etruscan Bucchero Ware olpe with some incised decoration, 91/2in. (24.5cm.), handle detached and partially missing, the whole body repaired and restored, an old label on the underside of the base, inscribed ‘Orvieto, 5th Century B.C.'; a small fragmentary red-figure bell krater, decorated on one side with a naked male wearing a wreath in his hair, his left leg resting on one of the decorative scrolls along the baseline, holding a ball aloft in his right hand, the other side decorated with a draped female holding a wreath and looking back towards the be-ribboned altar, circa 3rd Century B.C., 81/8in. (20.7cm.) high, in several fragments; a pottery amphora with surface encrustations, 151/2in. (39.6cm.) high, some cracks and fragments missing from the neck area and handles; a pottery lagynos, the handle formed of conjoint strips, 11/4in. (26.2cm.) a small hole under the handle area, ink inscribed on the underside of the base ‘1930.147’ and six other vessels, two of them very fragmentary, and a terracotta brick with a classical scene moulded in relief on one side, Not Ancient, 53/4in.
