Universal. A unusual and very rare oversized stainless steel split seconds chronograph wristwatch with 24 hour dial Signed Universal, Geneve, retailed by A. Cairelli, Rome, movement no. 2'619, case nos. 22'560-26, circa 1945 Cal. 619 jewelled lever movement, silvered matt dial with dot and Arabic 24 hour indication, outer fifths of a second divisions, blued steel hands, two subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds and 16 minute register, in large circular case with extended downturned lugs, engraved snap on back, split seconds chronograph mechanism operated through one rectangular chronograph button in the band and through the crown, case, dial and movement signed, dial further signed by the retailer 44 mm. diam.
