TWO SHAGREEN TRAVELLING CASES CONTAINING GLASS FLASKS one Paris, 1750-1756, struck with the discharge mark of Julien Berthe, the other Birmingham, 1907/1908, marked Oblong Louis XV flattened shagreen-covered case (" flaconnier de voyage ") opening at the long side of both hinged ends and applied with two cartouche-shaped silver clasps, one end fitted with two glass flasks with silver caps, the other end containing three smaller glass flasks with silver caps, red velvet and silk lining; and a slightly tapering shagreen case with rounded edges, the hinged top opening at the short side, silver mounted and applied with an oblong silver plaque at the slightly domed top, fitted with a cut glass flask with hinged silver cap, red velvet lining 158 and 137 mm.
