TWO INDO-PERSIAN KULAH KHUDS, A DHAL, AND THREE SABRES 19TH CENTURY The first each with domed skull, central spike, two plume-holders, adjustable nasal (one associated), and iron camail of small butted rings, one etched with foliage framing panels of silver-inlaid flowering foliage with gold-damascened borders, a band of Arabic inscriptions around the base, the other etched with scenes of the chase; the second domed with applied outer brass rim, the surface etched with characteristic flowering foliage inhabited by mounted huntsmen and tigers, the individual vignettes framed by borders decorated with gold-damascened foliage emanating from a central gold-damascened flower-head, and fitted with four bosses each with gold-damscened foliate decoration; the last each with curved fullered single-edged blade, iron guard with shaped langets and spiked pommel, and pistolgrip iron grip, one bound with woven silver wire (some wear and corrosion to swords) The first respectively approx. 10½in. (26.7cm.) and 10in. (25.4cm.) high, the second 18½in. (47cm.) diam.; the third with 29in. (73.7cm.) to 31¼in. (79.4cm.) blades (6)
