TWENTY PIECES OF BUTTERCUP PATTERN SILVER FLATWARE, SIX CHEESE KNIVES AND A GROUP OF FLATWARE, maker's mark of Gorham, many pieces with monogram, initial or inscription, the cheese knives with silver plated serrated blades, comprising: Buttercup--twelve demitasse spoons with gilt bowls, six fish knives with silver blades and flat handles, a pair of sugar tongs and a berry spoon; the cheese knives with shaped pistol handle embossed one side, with coat-of-arms, the other with sally-port, all within orange leaf, fruit and blossom surround; Imperial Chrysanthemum--five butter spreaders with silver blades and flat handles, a cake knife, a flat server with shaped rounded blade, a teaspoon; Old Baronial--twelve ice cream spoons with gilt bowls; a set of twelve cocktail forks with figural terminals similar to Nuremberg; Cambridge--four citrus spoons; Hanover--a master butter spreader and a serving spoon with gilt bowl; Versailles--two teaspoons; Old Master--gravy ladle; Luxembourg--a pair of ice tongs and a lettuce fork; Marguerite--a salad fork and spoon with gilt tines and bowl; Paris--pair of sugar tongs; Colonial--a large soup ladle; six boullion spoons with gilt bowls and ornate floral handles, a similar floral teaspoon, a three tine serving fork with elaborate scroll embossed hollow handle and thirteen further pieces-- 94 pieces total, weighable silver 92oz.
