Lot of 8 tintypes of men, women, and children posed in their bathing suits, or placed in a beach setting, including the following: 6 cdv-sized tintypes, measuring approx. 2.5 x 3.75 in., including four studio portraits of men, women, and children, most dressed in their bathing suits or "beachgoer" outfits, with an ocean or beach setting as a backdrop. Two of these studio portraits are housed in a paper mat with a decorative border, and one of the mats still includes the studio mark of Wieland's Photograph and Tintype Gallery, located on the Atlantic City, NJ boardwalk. The two additional cdv-sized tintypes were taken outdoors, on a front porch, one featuring an image of two young women in their bathing suits, posed with an older man, presumably their father, the other capturing one of the young women, posed by herself. 2 3.25 x 5 in. tintype, studio portraits of men posed in their bathing suits, with an ocean setting as the backdrop. Condition: Some scratching and few creases in tintypes.
