Tiffany Studios Gilt-Bronze and Favrile Glass Three-Light Stalactite Chandelier Circa 1910 In Moorish style, the three globe shades of elongated teardrop form, in amber glass, cased in opal, decorated with brilliant gold iridescent stylized leaf motifs, terminating in hooks, against a creamy white ground, signed S688, S707 and L.C. Tiffany-Favrile, with three ring devices hung from beaded chains suspended from a circular filigree decorated mount. Height of shades 11 1/2, 11 1/2 and 12 inches, height overall 26 1/2 inches, diameter 15 inches. Robert Koch, Louis C. Shade signed S707 or S702: has a dark, thin irregular line, visible from the interior, which has the appearance of being a hairline but likely is simply a swirl in the glass. This shade also has a small open air bubble, located above the pulled feather motif, at mid-point between two coils, in the making. Shade signed S688: small open air bubble, otherwise appears to be in good condition. Shade signed L.C. Tiffany-Favrile: this shade has some old white paint splatter near the fitter rim area, otherwise appears to be in good condition.
