Arabic manuscript on paper, 16 leaves, 33 lines to the page written in clear naskhi script in black ink, most of text incorporated into tables, significant words and sentences picked out in red, green and yellow, red dots between sentences, interlinear rules in red, inner margins ruled in red, catchwords, badly waterstained, edges frayed, yellow paper boards, worn and stained, 310 x 208 mm.; (B.) Abu 'Abdullah (Zayd) Muhammad ibn Sa'id ibn Ya'qub ibn Ahmad al-Susi al-Marghithi, Kitab al-Muqni'-Sharh Qasidat Abi Muqri' fi 'ilm al-Falak wa Dawaran al-Kawakib al-Mutaharrikah, a treatise on astronomy, copied by 'Ali bin al-Hasan bin Qasim al-Wadawi, North Africa, dated Tuesday 27th Dhu'l Qa'da 1122/17th January 1711, Arabic manuscript on paper, 29 leaves, 26 lines to the page written in small maghribi script in brown ink, significant words, numbers and sentences picked out in red or green, some diagrams, occasional commentaries written in outer borders at a later date, corners rather thumbed, some waterstaining, later modern brown morocco with stamped central medallions, 205 x 150 mm.; (C.) Shams-ad-Din Muhammad bin Ahmad al-Khudri, al-Takmilah al-Mubsirah fi Sharh-i al-Tazkarah, a treatise on astronomy, Persia, 17th Century, Arabic manuscript on paper, 204 leaves, 20 lines to the page written in naskhi script in black ink, significant sentences underlined in red, catchwords, numerous diagrams outlined in red, occasional commentaries in wide outer borders, colophon written in a different hand gives the date 10th Safar 970/9th October 1562, waterstaining affecting small areas of text, some crude repairs, a few wormholes, brown morocco with blind-tooled decoration, worn and faded 256 x 147 mm.(3)
