Griffiths leave in Paris 11-14 November "wear uniform, obtain a passport, report to Commandant 27 Place du Marche St Honore and on no account enter zone of active military operations without a special permit" - Aliens Restriction Order 1914, granting permission to Anna Maria Griffiths to sail from Liverpool to New York, 3 August 1918
