Beschreibung:

The Rudiments of Drawing Cabinet and Upholstery Furniture: comprehending concise and explicit instructions... illustrated by appropriate diagrams. It is true that Chippendale and Sheraton have given rules for drawing; but the ideas of their trivial compositions being taken from the models of the French school of about the middle of last century, now obsolete, has entirely discouraged cabinet-makers from investigating the principles employed in their delineations”). First edition of a beautifully illustrated model book for drawing cabinet furniture in a perfect perspective for use of interior architects in the correct proportions. It is the companion to The Principles of Practical Perspective, published in 1815.
