Beschreibung:

Mercedes-Benz went head to head with BMW when it launched the compact 190 Series in 1983, expanding its market to include motorists hitherto unable to afford the Stuttgart manufacturer’s high-quality products. This policy proved an outstanding success, with sales of the 190 totalling almost two million over the course of its ten-year production life. A conventional front-engine, rear-drive, four-door saloon the 190 was available with a variety of engines ranging from a 1.8-litre four to a 2.6-litre six, plus 2.0-litre and 2.5-litre diesels. Although targeted at a wider audience, the 190 was built to Mercedes-Benz’s traditional exemplary standards of construction and durability. A 2.0-litre model equipped with automatic transmission, this exceptionally well cared-for example comes from a deceased estate and has enjoyed the benefits of single family ownership from new. All MoTs from three years old confirm the recorded mileage of 70,400 only, and the car is presented in first class condition in every respect. Finished in blue with grey cloth upholstery, it comes complete with alloy wheels, sunroof and centre arm-rest - all desirable factory-fitted ‘extras’ – and is offered with MoT to October 2005 and Swansea V5 registration document.
