Beschreibung:

The Pininfarina designed Fiat 130 Coupé first saw the light of day in 1971. Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show of that year, the new car displayed a new coupé design and interior over its predecessor, the Fiat 130 saloon. Production records show that 4,491 units were produced over the period between 1971 and 1977 with only 617 examples being manufactured in 1974. The 130 Coupé was an executive express, coming into its own whilst travelling at high cruising speeds, power being supplied by the 3235cc V8 making this a rather understated supercar. This 1974 example is offered with the rare manual 5-speed option. The silver coachwork suits the lines of the coupé design and is in good order throughout. The contrasting orange velour is in remarkable condition and certainly reflects the 1970s tastes. Perhaps the condition of this 130 is due to it being placed in dry storage for a period of about 25 years in Monza, Italy. Purchased from the 2nd owner, re-commissioning works in Italy included, new timing belts and tensioners, clutch unit, exhaust, tyres and the overhaul of the braking system; a recent test demonstrating how well this particular car drives. Imported into the UK in 2015, this Fiat 130 Coupé is UK registered and will arrive at the sale with a fresh MoT test certificate. Offered with a very reasonable estimate, how long can this Italian supercar stay at this level
