First edition of the celebrated Estienne polyglot New Testament, with the dedication to Queen Elizabeth. The editor Immanuel Trimellius was a converted Jew from Ferrara who had taught Hebrew at Cambridge and was Professor at Heidelberg when this edition was printed. A monumental work.
