(From the Curious to the Extraordinary, 6th May 2021) THE EIGHT LEGGED STRIPPING LAMB, TAXIDERMY ART BY ANDRE ROBOLOBAVICH THE EIGHT LEGGED STRIPPING LAMB, TAXIDERMY ART BY ANDRE ROBOLOBAVICH formed of a mummified eight legged lamb holding its own skin, raised on a burr wood plinth Height: 56cm Provenance: Previously exhibited in Viktor Wynd's Museum at the Last Tuesday Society, London. Andre Robolobavich studied the art of taxidermy under the guidance of Simon 'the stuffa' Wilson of Bovingdon. Simon Wilson produced the now famous taxidermy 'Floating Giraffe' at Aynhoe Park which was sold at auction earlier this year for a record breaking £100,000. Simon's skills in taxidermy and his ability to think outside the box combined with Andre's imagination and artistic mindset have resulted in much of the taxidermy seen on screen in television and film in recent years. Andre and Simon source animals that have died from natural causes from zoos and farms, and have decided to let a few favourites move on to make space for another upcoming project.
