Each volume inscribed in 1933 by Charmian London to Charlyne Jurgewitz on the front free endpapers. First volume with Jack London's bookplate; second volume has Charmian's bookplate mounted to front pastedowns. Charlyne and Walter Jurgewitz were Eliza Shepard's grandson and his wife. They resided at Wake Robin Lodge with Eliza for several years. Eliza Shepard was Jack London's stepsister.
