The Beatles An early and extremely rare set of autographs, 1961 , the five original Beatles' signatures including Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best inscribed in blue ink on a piece of lined paper: The Beatles - John Lennon Stuart, Pete Best, Paul McCartney and George Harrison -- 1¾x5in. (4.7x12.5cm.) , the paper adhered to a double page removed from an autograph album; accompanied by two black and white snap-shots taken by the vendor of The Beatles outside The Cavern Club in Liverpool, 1961, one of George Harrison Paul McCartney, John Lennon and Pete Best, the other of the same line-up but with George Harrison's image torn off, largest -- 3½x3½in. (8.9x8.9cm.) ; four black and white photographs of The Beatles, two of which are thought to be unpublished, including a group portrait of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Best performing on stage at The Cavern, 1961, an individual head and shoulders portrait of Pete Best at The Cavern, with two individual portraits of Lennon and Harrison by Dick Matthews at The Cavern, 1961, the former -- 3½x5in. (8.9x12.7cm.) , the others -- 5x3½in. (12.7x8.9cm.) ; two Beatles Fan Club membership cards, one for the 1961-1962 season, inscribed inside in black ink with the issue number 10 , the member's name, address and signature, the other for the 1962-1963 season, numbered 308 , largest -- 4.5/8x3in. (11.8x7.6cm.) ; two Beatles publicity postcards, one a shot by Albert Marrion including Pete Best, 1962, the other an official Beatles Fan Club card, 1963 -- 4.1/8x5¾in. (10.5x15cm.) ; two Beatles Fan Club flexidiscs, 1963 and 1964, each with sleeve and original packaging; press cuttings and related material (a lot)
