The Beatles A set of twenty-seven black and white photographs taken by Philippe Le Tellier on October 26th, 1965, the day The Beatles received their MBEs, majority with photographer's ink stamp and date 27 Oct. 1965 on reverse, thirteen unusual shots featuring The Beatles getting changed, having breakfast and relaxing in Brian Epstein's London flat, Whaddon House, Knightsbridge prior to the investiture ceremony, eight featuring crowds of Beatles fans outside the gates of Buckingham Palace, the remaining six of The Beatles at a press conference following the awards ceremony held at Epstein's Saville Theatre, largest -- 10½x15¾in. (26.7x40cm.) ; and six black and white portrait photographs of Brian Epstein by various photographers including Steve Hardy and Terence Spencer, 1964 and 1965, two featuring Epstein on the telephone in his London office next door to the Palladium, 1964, three others featuring Epstein outside his Knightsbridge flat, 1965, one of these showing subject dressed for Ascot races, largest -- 12¾x8.5/8in.
