TENNYSON, ALFRED, LORD. 1809-1892.Four Tennyson-related items: 1. Autograph Letter Signed integrally ("Lord Tennyson") 2 times, a note to Francis Overend White, 2 pp recto and verso, 8vo, Surrey, July 2, 1886, on black bordered mourning stationery, light toning and thumbing, small closed tears at horizontal folds. In part: "Lord Tennyson begs to thank Mr. White for his kind letter. He would have much pleasure in possessing Archbishop Tenison's life: & be grateful to Mr. White for the act of sending it to him. 2. Franking Signature ("Tennyson") on Autograph Transmittal Envelope addressed to Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Prussia at Osborne, n.p., n.d., on mourning stationery, lightly thumbed. 3. Albumen print portrait of Tennyson, London: April 15, 1861, a carte-de-visite, publisher's imprint at lower mount, bookseller's ticket to verso, 4. Manuscript fair copy for "Davy and the Dignified Flunkey," 16 lines in Frederic Tennyson's hand.
