Trumps and court cards are double ended, Arabic numerals on cards 5 to 16, unnamed Italian suits, square corners, the first four unnumbered trumps are Moors, The Fool plays a horn and drum, The Hermit is an aged winged man and The Devil is a fiendish winged figure, ace of danari depicts an antique bust facing to the right, possibly representing an Italian or Bolognese tax stamp. Backs are woodblock printed arabesque design in blue. Size 4 7/16 in. (11.2 cm.) high, 2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) wide. In generally fine condition. Kaplan I, 49.
