Beschreibung:

Measures 5½" long when closed, 10½" long when open. Knife wielded by Lenny Bruce in the movie featuring Bruce, his wife Honey Bruce Friedman [cast as Honey Harlow], and Bruce’s mother Sally Marr as the club hostess. “Dance Hall Racket’ was barely seen in 1953 and the film lapsed into the public domain. It has been bootlegged over the years but exists only in a heavily bowdlerized version with a 57 minute run time and atrocious picture and sound quality several generations removed from the original. The original running length is unknown. It is available on YouTube and the Internet Archive [www.archive.org]. The knife is visible at run times 4:39, 41:50, 45:10 - picture quality is poor but the knife is clearly identifiable, especially at 45:10, one of the four scenes selected for the film’s poster.
