Watson, Padre to the British Troops, now at Atbara River with mention of forced marches, mention of stamps overprinted ""Sudan" instead of ""Soudan", and "I must now go to a poor fellow whose hands have been shot off and stumps amputated"; also 1898 (16 Apr.) 5m. card, 5m. (uprated with 5m.) and 1p. envelopes ex the Ashby correspondence from Lieut. Hamilton Hodgson at Wadi Halfa to Ceylon and redirected locally.
