Under the command of Hermann Fegelein, the SS Cavalry Brigade spent the majority of its time engaged with partisans or bandits as the German's referred to them. Condition: Only small fragment of front cover of dust jacket still present (but in poor condition). Wear to binding, with portion of front cover (showing title) partially separating from cloth boards (especially along left edge); as well as partial separation of paper cover on back board. Wear to spine. Interior pages with text - toning along margins. Pages with color plates and photographic reproductions in very fine, clean condition.
