Provenance : Lucy Johnson (booklabel), with some contemporary marginalia and manuscript indexes; Mary Grey Bonham Carter (bookplate). This copy is bound according to the systematical order of classes; the work was issued in parts with 2,592 plates between 1790 and 1814, with the supplements dated 1829, 1834, 1843 and 1849.
