London: Whittingham and Rowland for Suttaby, Evance and Hutchings, 1811-1812. 2 volumes in one, 16 o (125 x 74 mm). 2 engraved frontispieces (light browning). Contemporary red straight-grained morocco gilt, edges gilt concealing a fore-edge painting of "FINDING A HARE" (joints rubbed, upper hinge cracked, some soiling). Provenance: Harry de le Herning (signature in ink). -- JOHNSON, Thomas Burgeland (d. 1840). The Shooter's Guide; or, Complete Sportsman's Companion. London: Cox and Bayliss for John Booth and Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1820. 12 o (177 x 103 mm).
