Historical Records of the 40th (2nd Somersetshire) Regiment, now 1st Battalion The Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment) from its formation in 1717-1893, 1st edition, printed for subscribers by A. H. Swiss, Devonport, 1894, chromolithograph and monochrome plates, all edges gilt, original maroon cloth gilt, a little rubbed and some marks, thick 8vo, limited edition 84/250, together with Lee (Albert). History of the Thirty-third Foot, Duke of Wellington's (West Riding) Regiment, 1st edition, Norwich, Jarrold & Sons, 1922, colour and monochrome plates, plans etc, original red cloth gilt, some marks and light soiling, plus Cope (Sir William). The History of the Rifle Brigade (The Prince Consort's Own) formally the 95th, 1st edition, London: Chatto & Windus, 1877, colour lithograph plates of military uniform, battle plans, etc., original blind-stamped dark green cloth gilt, lightly rubbed, and O'Donnell (Captain H., editor). Historical Records of the 14th Regiment, now The Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorkshire Regiment), Devonport, A. H. Swiss, 1893, chromolithograph and monochrome plates, bookplates of Major Dudley Alexander to front pastedown with his signature in ink above 'Dudley Alexander 14th Regt.', contemporary full calf, rubbed and somewhat scuffed, 8vo, plus other regimental histories: Leftenant-Colonel F.
